Please share a memory of Regina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Regina Green-Farrell 11-09-1954 - 10-11-19 Regina was born in Camden, NJ on November 09, 1954 to George and Georgiana Green. She was passionate, loyal, intelligent and strong willed. After moving with her parents and three brothers and two sisters to Philadelphia at the age of five, she developed a lifelong love for the City of Philadelphia and it's sports teams. But nothing could develop the love she had for her husband Bob. After graduating from Frankford Highschool, friends introduced her to Bob and they felt an immediate connection that lasted 45 years. After their wedding on June 19, 1976. Bob and Regina had four children: Shannon, Rob, Erin and Shawn. Her and Bob made the Harrowgate neighborhood in Philadelphia their home, raised their children there and she lived there until her passing. Regina's loyalty and dedication to her neighborhood led her to become an activist, she took on the role of President of the Concerned Citizens of Harrowgate Civic Association, Vice President of the Harrowgate Town Watch, she was a 45th Ward Democratic Committee Person for 30 years and worked as a Constituent Service Representative in City Hall for Councilman Frank DiCicco for some time. She also worked off and on over the years at Bachmann Trains on Erie Avenue as the Customer Service Manager. But above all Regina was a devoted Mother and Wife. Her and Bob worked hard and sacrificed much to provide their children with a good life, good education and even a summer home at the Delaware Beaches. She created many memories with her family and they will always remember them. The past 11 years of Regina's life she took great joy in spending time with her eight grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them grow, she loved it when they gave their parents a hard time, she was always spoiling them and got a kick out of watching her own children become parents that she was proud of. Regina passed away on October 11, 2019 at the age of 64, with her family at her side. Beloved wife of Robert F. Loving Mom of Shannon Farrell (Mike Pakstis), Robert F. Jr. (Brianne), Erin Farrell and Shawn. Nan of John, Mackenzie, Luke, Robert III, Regina, Maddie, David and C.J. Also survived by her brothers, a sister, nieces and nephews.
