S I N G L E T O N Mildred E. "Mickey" passed away on April 21, 2022. Wife of Henry Singleton. Loving Mom of Jay Singleton (Dolores), Albert Singleton (Linda), Thomas Singleton (Eileen) and the late Roy L. Singleton. Mildred was born in Philadelphia to the late Mildred ( Grady)and John Mayes. Grandmom/Mema of Daniel (Liz),Shannon( Denis), Tammy, Jeremy( Julia), Albert ( Annette), Raymond( Lindsey), Dylan, Nicholas( Mary), Amanda. Great Grandmom of 20. Sister of Sonny Mayes (the late Mildred). She worked at Fleers bubble gum and then Holy Reedemer Hospital. Retired and moved to Delaware. Where she was involved in senior bowling and quilting clubs. She was a member of Weston Senior Center in Delaware. She was a loving Mom, sister, Grandmom, Great Grandmother,Aunt, and Daughter. She loved her sons and her grand children. When you met Mickey you felt like you knew her forever. She would light up a room when she entered it. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday April 27th 10:00 AM at Somerton United Methodist Church 13073 Bustleton Ave. Phila., PA 19116. Funeral Service 12 NOON. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery.
